Mats focuses on civil disputes arising from misconduct, financial criminal cases, as well as crisis management and advisory work related to corruption matters.

He has extensive experience as defence counsel and has acted in numerous high-profile cases concerning corruption and financial crime. His practice also covers complex civil litigation, including matters involving directors’ and professional liability, insolvency, real estate, and cryptocurrency.

Mats is ranked among Norway’s leading lawyers in financial crime by Finansavisen’s annual lawyer survey, and has on several occasions previously been awarded the ‘Up & Coming’ category in the same ranking.
